ST-AMBROISE IS COMING!   14 Nov 2008

The fabulous St-Ambroise beers from McAuslan Brewery in Quebec, Canada are due to land into Australia mid December.  They make a cracking APA (American Pale Ale), a multi award-winning Oatmeal Stout and their Apricot Wheat Ale will be perfect through summer.   We will also look into getting their 2009 Vintage Ale (Barleywine) when it gets released in February, boy the Quebecois sure know how to brew beer.  Visit the St-Ambroise page for more info.

Unibroue have very generously allowed us to purchase a small quantity of six litre bottles of La Fin du Monde (The End of the World).  Being such a small amount, we weren’t sure what to do with them so we thought, ahhhh blow it, let’s just give them away.  So when you purchase a 4-pack of stubbies or two longnecks of La Fin du Monde from a participating retailer, you can enter the draw to win a six litre (Methuselah) sized bottle, RRP $190 (there are four bottles in the draw, 1 per state, NSW, VIC, SA and WA).  This bottle must be seen to be beleived, and you can do that at the following specialist beer retailers: VIC - Purvis Wine Cellars, Surrey Hills; NSW - Camperdown Cellars, Camperdown; WA - International Beer Shop, West Leederville, SA - Bar on Gouger (bottleshop), Adelaide.

LA FIN DU MONDE 10YR ANNIVERSARY MAGNUM  15 Oct 2007

To celebrate La Fin du Monde's 10th Birthday (July 2004), Unibroue produced some La Fin du Monde in a beautifully packaged magnum (1.5L) bottle with a wire cage and cork.  Luckily they had put some aside for their mates in Australia, they are now available at these top notch grog shops.
